Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh lemon balm leaves (or 4 tablespoons dried)
- 1 tablespoon raw honey (optional)
- 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
- 1 organic lemon, sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cups filtered water
- 2 green tea bags (optional)
- 5 fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Wash all fresh ingredients. Slice the lemon and ginger.
- Bring 4 cups of filtered water to a gentle boil in a pot.
- Remove from heat, then add lemon balm, ginger, lemon slices, cinnamon stick, and green tea bags. Cover immediately.
- Let the infusion steep for 15–20 minutes.
- Strain the mixture and stir in honey while warm (if using).
- Let cool, then refrigerate in a glass container. Serve warm or cold.
