Instructions

  1. Peel, pit, and slice peaches into ½-inch wedges using the boiling-water/ice-bath method.
  2. In a large bowl, toss peaches with sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, vanilla, and cornstarch until coated.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until just combined.
  4. Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Add batter over butter (do not stir). Spoon peaches evenly on top.
